The Gut Root
The Gut Root
Your follicles aren't being fed, because your gut isn't letting food through.
The mechanism
Everything your hair is built from — amino acids, iron, zinc, silica, the B vitamins — has to cross your gut wall before it can reach a follicle. That crossing is not automatic. It depends on an intact intestinal lining, adequate stomach acid, functioning bile flow, and a microbial population that isn't fighting you.
When any of that is compromised, you can eat impeccably and absorb very little of it. The food arrives. It just doesn't get in.
Which is the whole reason biotin fails so reliably. The nutrient was never the missing piece. The doorway was. Adding more of something you can't absorb is a strategy with a hard ceiling, and most people hit it within a month and conclude that nothing works for them.
How you got here
- A course of antibiotics — even one, even years ago — that the microbiome never fully recovered from, because it was never given the proper tools.
- Food poisoning, parasites, or travel that reset your digestion and it never quite came back.
- Years of low-grade bloating you stopped noticing.
- Chronic stress, which shuts down digestion directly. You cannot rest-and-digest while braced.
Prerequisites to support your protocol
- Daily sunlight. First thing on waking, before a screen gets to you.
- Bare feet on the ground. Every day, even if it is only a few minutes.
- Avoid artificial light at night. Or as little of it as your life allows.
- Daily movement. Stagnation breeds sickness. It does not have to be training.
- A willingness to leave your comfort zone and commit to something that will change your life for the better.
Your protocol
Order is doing most of the work here. Every week assumes the one before it happened — if you skip ahead, you are running a different protocol with a similar shopping list.
Clear only
Gut Cleanse Tea each morning on an empty stomach, thirty minutes before food — fruit is ideal. Pair the tea with a binder like Psyllium Husk. Remove all processed food — chips, fast food, seed oils. Nothing for your hair at all. This part is uncomfortable and it is the point.
Hold the line
Same protocol, unchanged. The tea runs seven to ten days in total. Score your bloating out of five each evening, in a note on your phone. You are collecting a baseline, and you will not remember accurately otherwise.
Now feed it
Stop the tea. Introduce the Hair Growth Infusion into the scalp one to two times daily. Absorption is improving, so what you give your body finally has somewhere to land. ULTRA is an excellent addition here as well.
Signs it is working
None of these are hair. That is deliberate — hair is the last thing to change, and if you only watch your hair you will quit before the evidence arrives.
- Bloating that settles within an hour of eating instead of lasting all evening
- More regular, more complete bowel movements
- The post-meal energy crash softening or disappearing
- Scalp itching or flaking reducing — often the first visible sign, and it's a gut sign

Thirteen ingredients including wildcrafted Batana oil. Held back until week three deliberately — applied to a body that can't absorb, it's a much smaller thing than it should be.

Gut and lymph run together more than any other pair. If lymph was your close second, finish the gut work first — drainage improves downstream of absorption, not the other way around.
